The Most Anticipated Album of the Year

Ok, maybe not. But it's definitely the album I'm most anticipating. It's called "All Of Us In Our Night" by the Modern Skirts.

The Modern Skirts are pretty much the biggest band out of Athens, Ga in some time. They're a pop/rock group with an ear for short, tight songs which flourish on groove and melody. I've heard "The Beatles" and "Ben Folds" thrown around as sound-a-likes. Erin and I have tried to catch them every time they're in Athens for the last few years or so, which we did again last night. All I can say is I can't even explain how excited I am about this album.

Unfortunately, "Indiana Indian" and "Four More Years Ago" will not be on the new album, which doesn't make any sense to me. Oh well.
